About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when most mechanics were just brewing coffee, an old pickup truck pulled into Crash Champions with its headlights off. The regulars watched curiously as the engine started without a sound. Suddenly, from under the hood emerged a gruff voice: ‘Hey, kid! You forgot your lights on!’ A delivery driver, leaning against the door, grinned and tossed a flashlight inside. The regulars burst out laughing, knowing full well that no one ever leaves Crash Champions in the dark.
2. At midnight, when the garage doors were locked and everyone had gone home, a delivery driver pulled up to Crash Champions with a mysterious package marked ‘Top Secret’. The mechanic on duty, yawning and rubbing his eyes, took one look at it and muttered, ‘Great, now what?’ Mechanic opened the box curiously, only to pull out an old sandwich wrapped in newspaper. He smiled sheepishly, mumbling, 'Guess someone forgot lunch again.' A few minutes later, a neighbor knocked on the door asking if he could borrow some tools—turns out it was the same delivery driver.
3. At dusk, when the garage lights flickered on, a delivery driver noticed something strange. The air around Crash Champions seemed to hum softly—like a distant radio station no one else could hear. Curious, he approached the entrance and heard an old man inside muttering to himself, ‘Finally got that carburetor working!’ As the delivery driver turned to leave, he caught a glimpse of a cat lazily stretching on top of a freshly painted sign that read: ‘Crash Champions – Fixin’ Cars Since Last Night.’
4. At sunset, when the garage was almost empty, a little dog trotted into Crash Champions. It sniffed around the workshop, paused by a toolbox, then suddenly perked up its ears as if listening for something. Suddenly, from behind an old tire pile, emerged another dog—this one bigger and clearly the leader. They greeted each other with a wag of tails and a few playful nudges before the smaller dog turned back towards the workshop. The mechanic whistled softly and smiled, recognizing his furry regulars. ‘Looks like Spot’s bringing home a friend,’ he chuckled, reaching for some treats.
