About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, as customers were settling in for their daily routine, an elderly gentleman approached the counter and asked the teller, ‘Excuse me, but I believe you’ve got my lucky dollar.’ The teller looked puzzled until she noticed a small note taped inside one of the bank’s windows. The teller took the note and read aloud: 'If found, please return to Mr. Johnson, Room 102.' Everyone laughed—there was no such person or room. The old man smiled and said, 'Well, looks like luck is on your side today!' And with that, he left, leaving behind a warm feeling among the staff.
2. One afternoon, while employees were preparing for closing, a delivery driver arrived with a mysterious box marked ‘Top Secret’. No one dared open it until the last customer left. Finally, everyone left except an elderly gentleman who came in to withdraw some cash. The delivery driver whispered, 'Better not open that now.' But the old man said, 'What’s life without a little adventure?' and promptly opened the box. Out popped a live parrot squawking, 'Open sesame!' Everyone burst out laughing, realizing it was just a prank from their friendly neighborhood mailman.
3. One day, after school, a little girl entered the bank's lobby and asked the security guard, ‘Sir, why does your ATM smile at me every time I withdraw money?’ The guard smiled gently and replied, 'That’s because our ATM is very happy to see you.' The little girl thought for a moment then said, 'But doesn’t it get tired of smiling all day long?' The guard laughed and answered, 'Not at all, my dear. It just loves making people happy!'
4. One night, as the bank was closing, a security guard heard a strange humming sound coming from inside one of the safes. Curious, he opened it and found only an old cassette tape labeled ‘Happy Birthday.’ Turns out, it was left there by a delivery driver who forgot his own birthday was tomorrow. Everyone had a good laugh, and now the tape plays every year on the bank’s anniversary.
