About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when Salon Vagabond usually sleeps, a delivery driver noticed something odd outside. The streetlight flickered, and in its dim glow, he swore he saw a shadowy figure entering the salon. Curious, he peered closer and saw only an old coat hanging on the doorknob. Shrugging it off as nothing, he drove away. Later that morning, while drying a customer’s hair, the owner glanced out and asked, ‘Who left their coat here?’ Everyone looked around blankly, until a neighbor chimed in, ‘That would be me—must’ve forgotten it last week.’
2. While getting a trim one morning, a regular exclaimed, ‘I swear I saw someone combing their hair in the mirror behind the moon!’ Everyone just smiled and shook their heads—until they looked up and saw it too. Soon enough, everyone was peering into that mirror, trying to catch a glimpse of the mysterious reflection. A delivery driver even brought his camera, but when he finally snapped a photo, all it showed was his own bemused face. Eventually, someone suggested it might be a trick of light or an optical illusion—and sure enough, after a good laugh, everyone went back to their usual routines. The only thing left combing its hair in the mirror was the stylist’s reflection, who winked at them all with a knowing smile.
3. While getting a trim one day, a regular whispered, ‘Did you see that old lady in the mirror? She’s been sitting there for hours!’ The stylist laughed and said, ‘She’s just our resident ghost customer!’ Turns out she was an elderly woman who loved coming here so much, she’d sit and knit while waiting for her granddaughter—who always forgot to show up.’
4. At closing time, when Salon Vagabond’s doors were locked tight, a delivery driver passing by heard an eerie humming sound coming from inside. Curious, he leaned closer and saw only empty chairs and quiet mirrors. Then, out of nowhere, a friendly voice called from behind the curtain: ‘Next appointment in five minutes!’ The delivery driver gave a nervous laugh and hurried away, never to mention his strange encounter again.
