About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At CVS Pharmacy, a regular customer complained loudly one morning: ‘Why do they always run out of Band-Aids just when I need them most?’ Ever since then, employees joke that someone must be stockpiling first aid supplies in secret. One day, a delivery driver arrived with an unusually large box marked ‘Band-Aids’. As he unloaded it, everyone watched curiously. Turns out, it was just extra inventory from another store—no hidden stash after all. The mystery remained unsolved, but the joke lived on.
2. A delivery driver pulled up to the CVS Pharmacy late one afternoon, frowning as he scanned the empty parking lot. Just then, an elderly gentleman emerged from inside and started waving frantically. 'Quick!' he shouted. 'Someone’s stolen my wheelchair!' The delivery driver rushed in, only to discover that the old man had accidentally left his motorized scooter parked outside. ‘Oh no,’ he laughed sheepishly, “I thought it was a wheelchair!’ The two shared a hearty laugh, and soon enough, the scooter was back where it belonged. As they parted ways, the old man waved goodbye with a smile, muttering under his breath, ‘Guess I’ll have to be more careful next time.’
3. A curious neighbor stopped by the CVS Pharmacy one day and asked aloud: 'I’ve noticed something strange—why does everyone here seem to be buying exactly three packets of band-aids?' The pharmacist smiled knowingly. ‘Ah,’ he said, ‘they’re not for people—they’re for our little friend, Mr. Fido next door. He’s been chewing on things again!’ A delivery driver overheard and chimed in, ‘That explains why I saw him limping earlier.’ The neighbor laughed, shaking his head. ‘At least he always looks so happy after his visits to CVS!’
4. At CVS Pharmacy, an elderly lady approached the counter with a puzzled look on her face. ‘Excuse me,’ she said, ‘why does every third bottle of aspirin say “Free Sample”?’ The pharmacist smiled and replied, 'Well ma’am, that’s because our supplier sends us three bottles in one box—two full-priced ones and one free sample.' The old lady nodded thoughtfully, then asked, 'So which one do I get for free?' Everyone in line burst out laughing.
