1. At Kroger, a regular noticed something peculiar one day. While pushing his shopping cart down the aisle, he heard an unusual noise coming from the produce section. Curious, he looked over and saw a small child giggling as he tried to herd a basket of bananas into a corner. Upon closer inspection, our regular realized that the banana herder was actually just a mischievous delivery driver’s little boy. The driver had left him in the store for a moment while unloading boxes. The kid thought it would be fun to help ‘herd’ some bananas—completely unaware that everyone else in the store was staring at him with big smiles.

2. At Kroger, an elderly neighbor started checking out items in the produce section with unusual frequency. One morning, she picked up a basket of apples and began whispering to them as if they were old friends. Suddenly, another customer noticed her and asked curiously, ‘Are those apples your grandchildren?’ The woman smiled gently, still talking softly to the fruit. A delivery driver overheard and joked, ‘Next time you see Adam and Eve, tell ’em I’ll bring the cartons.’ Everyone laughed, and from that day on, people looked forward to seeing the chatty lady in the apple aisle.

3. At Kroger, a sign above the checkout aisle read ‘If you see something strange, say something strange.’ One afternoon, while scanning groceries, a delivery driver whispered to himself, ‘I’ve never seen so many strange things in my life!’ As he scanned the items, another customer, glancing over his shoulder, asked curiously, 'Is that really necessary?' The driver turned around with a straight face and replied, 'Ma’am, I’m just following company policy.' Everyone burst into laughter, including the cashier who muttered under her breath, ‘Welcome to Kroger!’

4. At Kroger, a little boy pointed excitedly at the ceiling. His mom looked up and saw nothing but fluorescent lights, until she realized everyone else was staring too. Then, as if on cue, an old lady in line whispered, ‘Why, that’s just Uncle Harry waving from heaven!’ Everyone burst out laughing, realizing they’d been watching someone’s reflection in the glass ceiling tiles. The boy grinned proudly—his uncle had clearly been a regular at Kroger too.
