'Are you trying to fix your dentures or just keeping busy?' The dentist grinned, replying, 'Just making sure I won't bite anyone's tongue tomorrow.'

4. At nightfall, when Jefferson Dental locked its doors for the last time, a regular patient sat in his car across the street, watching as the building's neon sign flickered on. Suddenly, from inside came a muffled cry: ‘Where’s my crown?!’ The man jumped out of his car, only to see an old delivery driver waving a half-finished tooth model. ‘I thought you were open twenty-four seven,’ he joked. The doctor laughed and waved him back into his car, promising, “Next time, sir, definitely next time.”
