Ever since then, whenever anyone asks why they keep the window open, everyone shrugs and says, ‘Because it’s cheaper than AC.’
2. In the late afternoon, a young boy walked past the imposing Quackenbush Law Firm building. Suddenly, he stopped and pointed up at one of the windows, whispering excitedly, ‘Mom, look! It looks like someone’s drawing on the window with their finger!’ The mother looked up curiously, but all she saw was a shadowy figure doodling absently. Don’t believe everything you read.’ The dog, meanwhile, had long since wandered off, wagging happily.
4. At dawn, when most law firms were quiet, a delivery driver knocked on Quackenbush Law Firm’s door with an unusual package. When the receptionist opened it, she found nothing but a note that read: ‘For justice served, sign here.’ The receptionist shrugged and signed the note. Suddenly, a small rubber ducky floated out of the envelope. Everyone laughed, realizing it was just another prank from their mysterious neighbor. The duck became a new office mascot, named Ducky Justice.
