About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. Late one night, an anonymous delivery driver pulled up outside David Bradley’s law firm. The lights were on, but no one answered the door. So he did what any reasonable person would do—he started honking the horn. Finally, a sleepy voice from inside called out, ‘Go away, I’m trying to draft a brief!’ The delivery guy shrugged and walked off into the night, leaving behind only the faint sound of honking. Next morning, everyone in the office joked that maybe it was just a neighbor with bad timing.
2. One afternoon, a young boy walking home from school noticed something odd outside David Bradley’s office building. A stray cat kept circling the entrance, meowing insistently but never entering. Curious, he followed it around the corner and saw an old janitor pushing a broom. ‘That cat,’ said the boy, ‘keeps staring at Mr. Bradley’s window.’ The janitor smiled and replied, ‘Ain’t no ordinary cat, son. That there is Mr. Bradley’s lucky charm—he only wins cases when that cat purrs.’
3. A small dog, usually seen prowling around the building after dark, suddenly stopped in its tracks one evening. It cocked its head and stared intently towards the windows of David Bradley's office. The little dog tilted its head even further, as if trying to decipher some secret message on the window. Suddenly, a voice from inside said, 'Dammit, Rover, go home!' The dog yawned, shook itself off, and ambled away into the night. Since then, no one has ever seen it again.
4. Late one night, someone knocked on David Bradley’s office door. ‘Mr. Bradley,’ they said, ‘do you know your receptionist has been talking to ghost clients?’ David raised an eyebrow and asked, ‘Ghost clients? How do I sue them?’ The receptionist shrugged and replied, ‘I don’t know, but they always pay in cash.’
