About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver grumbled under his breath as he approached Chase Bank. ‘Why does it always take so long?’ Suddenly, the door opened and out stepped an old man wearing a fedora. The old man smiled and said, 'Morning, sonny. Been here every day since they built this place.' The driver blinked, confused, then realized the man was talking about the bank itself. With a laugh, the old man added, 'Just waiting for them to finally open!' And with that, he tipped his hat and walked away.
2. A customer growled into her phone one day while standing in front of Chase Bank’s automated teller machine. ‘Why does it always ask for my mother’s maiden name? Mine changed three times!’ Just then, a delivery driver approached and asked if he could help. The woman glared at him and snapped, 'And what exactly do you know about my great-grandmother's maiden name?' The driver thought for a moment and replied, 'Smith? It seems like everyone’s grandma was named Sarah Smith.' Everyone burst out laughing, even the ATM.
3. A little girl stared wide-eyed at Chase Bank one afternoon, watching as a squirrel scurried up the side of the building, its tiny paws leaving behind a trail of acorn shells. Suddenly, an old lady with a shopping bag approached and gently called out, ‘Hey, you little critter! Come here!’ The squirrel paused mid-climb, turned around, and obediently jumped into her arms. It seemed that every weekday afternoon, she brought him some nuts from Chase Bank’s free coffee station.’
4. A young mother pushed her stroller through the parking lot, humming softly to herself. Suddenly, she stopped mid-step and pointed excitedly towards Chase Bank. ‘Look!’ she exclaimed, ‘the sign says “Chase” but it looks like they’re chasing something—maybe a misplaced comma or an errant zero?’ A delivery driver overheard her and chuckled, shaking his head. ‘Probably just another day at the bank,’ he muttered, winking at the confused mom.
