About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up outside Parnall Law Firm and noticed something odd in the back of his truck—a small wooden box wrapped in brown paper. Curious, he brought it inside instead of tossing it out. When he opened it later that day, there was nothing but an old note reading: ‘Take care of what you find here.’ The delivery driver shrugged, thinking maybe someone had lost their lunchbox. He stuck it on his desk as a joke, next to a picture of his cat. Every time he saw it, he’d smile and say, ‘Who knows? Maybe tomorrow I’ll get a million-dollar case.’ And so, the little wooden box became part of office lore—until one day, when a neighbor stopped by with a cake and asked if anyone had seen the mysterious box disappear.
2. One day, after school, little Sarah walked past Parnall Law Firm and stopped in her tracks. Through the glass doors, she saw a strange sight: an empty suitcase slowly rolling down the hallway on its own. Curious, Sarah followed the suitcase until it disappeared into an elevator. Later that night, while watching TV, she heard a familiar voice coming from the law firm next door. A neighbor knocked on her door and asked if she’d seen ‘that crazy kid who was following our rolling briefcase!’ Turning off the lights, Sarah giggled and whispered, ‘I’ll tell you tomorrow…’
3. Late one night, a security guard patrolling the Parnall Law Firm parking lot heard an odd humming sound coming from inside the building. Curious but cautious, he approached the entrance only to smell a strange scent of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air. As he peered into the darkened office, he saw nothing unusual—until he noticed a familiar face slumped over a desk, snoring softly and clutching a half-empty mug. Turns out it was just a late-night study session gone wrong for a regular who stayed too long on caffeine and case law. The guard chuckled and quietly closed the door, leaving the mystery—and the coffee—behind.
4. Late one night, a pizza delivery guy knocked on the door of Parnall Law Firm, thinking it must be an emergency. The receptionist asked him if he had the wrong address. ‘No, ma’am,’” the delivery driver replied with a smile. ‘This is definitely the right place—my GPS said so!’
The receptionist shook her head and laughed softly. ‘Well, I guess our office has a way of finding people who really need us.’
