About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A regular was walking out of Wells Fargo one morning when he noticed something peculiar on the ground near the ATM. A small, dusty envelope lay there, its corners slightly torn. He picked it up and opened it curiously. Inside was a crumpled note that read: ‘Forgot my lunch money again.’ He smiled, shook his head, and walked off, thinking, ‘Another day in paradise.’
2. A delivery driver pulled up to Wells Fargo one afternoon and asked the guard, ‘Do you mind if I use your restroom? It’s an emergency!’ The guard nodded, but then added with a smile, ‘Just don’t take any money from our vault while you’re in there.’ The delivery driver nodded, gave a wink and walked inside. A few minutes later he emerged, wiped his hands on his shirt and calmly said, 'No problems here.' As he drove off, the guard shook his head and muttered, 'Guess that’s why they call him a regular.'
3. A neighbor stopped by Wells Fargo one day to deposit some cash. As she approached the teller window, she heard an odd noise coming from inside. Peering through the glass, she saw a small bird frantically flapping its wings in one of the ceiling vents. The teller calmly opened a vent and gently scooped up the little fellow with a piece of tissue. With a smile, she asked the neighbor if she’d like to hold the tiny escapee until it regained its strength. The neighbor agreed, and soon enough, the bird was back outside, chirping merrily as the teller closed the vent. ‘That’s our feathered friend,’ she said with a laugh, handing over the deposit slip. ‘He must’ve been blown in by that windy delivery truck.’
4. One foggy morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Wells Fargo with a crate marked ‘Precious Cargo.’ The guard eyed him suspiciously as he approached the door. The guard peered inside and saw nothing but old newspapers and some dusty books. 'Just delivering the archives,' said the driver with a smile. They shook hands, and as the driver left, the guard noticed a familiar face peeking from behind the crate—his own next-door neighbor, who had forgotten his keys again.
