About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when most pharmacies are still locking their doors, a CVS Pharmacy in Boston became notorious for its early morning visitor. A regular would arrive every day, wearing a long trench coat and carrying an old briefcase. He’d quietly walk up to the counter, ask for a specific prescription, pay cash, then leave without saying a word. One morning, the pharmacist noticed that the man’s briefcase was suspiciously heavy. Curious, he peeked inside and found it filled with nothing but packets of coffee creamer. Turns out, our regular had been buying his daily caffeine fix all along! Since then, everyone calls him ‘Mr. Mocha’.
2. At midnight, when the city sleeps soundly, a CVS Pharmacy's freezer door began opening and closing repeatedly. A delivery driver noticed it first but thought it might be the wind until he heard a faint laugh echoing inside. Curious, the delivery driver peered inside and saw only rows of pills and syringes. Suddenly, an old bottle of aspirin smiled back at him. Thinking it was his imagination playing tricks, he shrugged and left. The next morning, everyone in the neighborhood received a coupon for a free ice cream from ‘CVS Pharmacy.’ It turned out to be the store’s way of apologizing for keeping them up late.
3. Late one night, as a delivery driver approached the CVS Pharmacy, he heard an unusual voice whispering from inside: ‘Can I get some ice for my plants?’ Curious, the driver peered through the window and saw only empty shelves and a lone plant in a pot. Smiling, he asked, 'You must be new around here?' The plant nodded its plastic head and replied, 'No water today.'
4. At closing time, when everyone else is leaving the building, a CVS Pharmacy’s security guard noticed a mysterious note taped to the inside of the exit door: ‘Open only if you’re not human.’ The guard chuckled and thought, ‘Whoever wrote this must be new around here.’ He opened the door, stepped outside—and promptly tripped over his own shadow. Turns out, he wasn’t the only one who wasn’t human.
