About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One night, a regular asked the pharmacist, ‘Why do you always seem so calm when everyone else is panicking?’ The pharmacist just smiled and replied, ‘Because I’ve seen everything from people forgetting their prescriptions to trying to mix their own cocktails.’ Just then, a delivery driver rushed in, yelling, 'My package is missing!' The pharmacist calmly said, 'Don’t worry, it’s probably here somewhere.' He winked and added, 'Trust me, I’ve seen packages disappear before—usually into someone’s bag.'
2. At dawn, when most pharmacies are just opening their doors, an old delivery driver pulled up outside Palms Pharmacy. He noticed the lights were already on, but no one seemed to be inside. Curious, he walked around back and found the pharmacist’s cat sitting alone in front of the closed register, staring intently at the cash drawer. The cat, apparently bored with waiting, jumped onto the counter and started pushing buttons on the cash register with his paws. To everyone's surprise, a tiny box popped out, revealing a free packet of chewing gum. The delivery driver laughed, thinking it was some clever prank by the absent pharmacist. As he left, whistling, he promised himself he'd come back tomorrow—maybe the cat would give him another treat.
3. At midnight, a neighbor rushed into Palms Pharmacy, frantically whispering that he’d seen a ghostly figure in his garden. The pharmacist, rubbing his eyes, calmly asked what time the ghost appeared. ‘About ten past twelve,’ replied the neighbor nervously. Just then, a delivery driver walked in and said, “Hey, did you know your sign is glowing?” The neighbor sighed, ‘Oh no… it’s not Halloween yet.’
4. At closing time, a little girl walked into Palms Pharmacy, holding her teddy bear tightly. The pharmacist looked up and smiled, but then noticed something odd: the bear’s eyes seemed to follow him as he moved around the counter. The pharmacist blinked, and when he looked again, the bear's eyes were just ordinary buttons. He shook his head with a smile, thinking it was one of those optical illusions. Just then, an old lady came in, asking for aspirin. ‘That bear must be yours,’ she said to the girl. ‘He looks exactly like mine!’
