2. A delivery driver pulled up to More 4 Less one afternoon, frowning at his empty toolbox. Suddenly, from inside the shop came a familiar voice: 'Hey, pal! Need some help with that?' The mechanic emerged from behind the counter, grinning and waving a set of tools. ‘No worries,’ he said cheerfully. ‘Just pop in here next time you’re in town.’ The delivery driver shook his head, smiling. ‘Guess I’ll do that,’ he replied, loading his truck with a newfound sense of optimism. A few days later, a package arrived at More 4 Less—an extra-large toolbox with a note: “Thanks for the assist!”
3. A little boy walked into More 4 Less, pointing excitedly at something on the floor. ‘Dad,’ he said, ‘what’s that funny-looking engine?’ The dad squatted down and smiled. 'No, son,' laughed the mechanic, patting him on the head. 'But if you help us clean up today, maybe next time we'll show you how they work.'
4. At dawn, before anyone else arrived, a soft humming started coming from behind the workshop doors. Employees glanced at each other curiously but dismissed it as machinery warming up. One morning, an old neighbor walked in, asking if anyone had seen his cat. Turns out, Fluffy had been hiding under the hood of a car all night, and now purred contentedly whenever mechanics worked on engines. From then on, everyone joked that Fluffy was the shop’s unseen mechanic’s assistant.
