About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a young child pointed excitedly at Lori Gill’s office door. ‘Mom,’ she said, ‘look! The lady’s lips are moving even though no one is talking!’ Her mother smiled and whispered, ‘She must be saying something very important.’ Later that day, an elderly gentleman popped his head around the corner and asked, ‘Excuse me, but do you know what she was mumbling about? I missed it!’ And so began the legend of Lori Gill who, everyone agreed, probably had the most interesting internal monologue in town.
2. A delivery driver pulled up in front of Lori Gill's office one afternoon. As he unloaded boxes from his truck, he noticed something odd—each package seemed to bear a tiny smiley face drawn on its label. Curious, the delivery driver asked Lori if she knew anything about it. She smiled mysteriously and replied, 'Oh yes, that's just my new logo—a little touch of cheer for our clients.' The driver shrugged and went on his way, shaking his head but grinning slightly. Back home that night, his wife found him humming an unfamiliar tune and smiling contentedly.
3. A neighbor stopped by Lori Gill’s office one evening with an unusual request. ‘I’ve been meaning to ask you,’ he said, ‘why do all our houses suddenly look like they’re for sale?’ Lori smiled knowingly. 'Ah,' she replied, 'you see, I recently changed the font on our sign outside.' The neighbor scratched his head in embarrassment. 'Oh,' he muttered, 'that explains everything!'
4. A dog walked into Lori Gill’s office one day, sniffing intently around her desk. When she looked up curiously, he suddenly sat down and started wagging his tail excitedly. ‘What on earth?’ thought Lori, scratching behind his ear. The dog then jumped onto her lap, causing her coffee to spill everywhere. ‘I guess I’m not just an estate agent today,’ she laughed, patting him affectionately as a regular delivery driver whistled outside.’
