1. A regular stopped by Fresh Flours one morning and asked the baker, ‘Why does your bread always look so happy?’ The baker smiled and replied, ‘Because it’s baked with love.’ Since then, customers swear they can see little smiles on every loaf. One day a delivery driver arrived, looked at the smiling bread, and asked curiously, ‘How do you make them smile like that?’ The baker winked and said, ‘Oh, I just tell each loaf a funny joke before it goes in the oven!’
2. One foggy morning, as a delivery driver pulled up outside Fresh Flours, he swore he heard faint laughter coming from inside the empty bakery. Curious, he peered through the window and saw only dusty shelves and closed shutters. Suddenly, a croissant fell off a shelf with a soft plop, followed by more rustling sounds. Smiling sheepishly, he knocked on the door and called out, ‘Anybody home?’ A sleepy voice replied from within, ‘Just our new oven adjusting to the temperature.’
3. A curious customer approached the counter and inquired, 'I notice you always seem to run out of chocolate chips right when I come in. Is it some kind of secret recipe?' The baker smiled mysteriously. ‘Oh no, sir,’ he replied. ‘We don’t use them in our secret recipe—we feed them to the rats that live under the counter!’ A regular behind him sniggered, shaking his head with a knowing smile.
4. A young mother rushed into Fresh Flours with her toddler in tow. As she waited for her favorite pastry, she noticed something odd: every time someone mentioned the word ‘crust,’ the shop’s parrot would chirp out an unexpected reply. Finally, a regular asked the parrot what it meant by its strange replies. The bird cocked its head and replied, 'Because here, everything is fresh—even our curses!' Everyone burst out laughing, realizing that Fresh Flours wasn’t just another bakery—it was a place where even crusts had personalities.
