The tapping got faster, almost frantic. Perry looked at each other, eyebrows raised. Then, out of nowhere, a delivery driver burst through the door, apologizing profusely for being late—his lunch order had been delivered on time thanks to some mysterious rhythm only he could hear. Everyone laughed, including the driver, as Perry shook his head and went back to work, muttering something about 'barbershop beats'.
3. While Perry was shaving a regular’s beard one afternoon, he paused mid-stroke and asked, ‘Did you know your mustache has its own zip code?’ The regular laughed nervously, scratching his head.
