1. At dawn, when the mail trucks were just arriving, a regular noticed something peculiar happening outside the post office. A small bird had built its nest on top of one of the mailboxes. As days passed, more birds joined in, until soon there was a whole miniature aviary atop that mailbox. The regulars started bringing seeds and berries, thinking it was cute. One morning, though, a delivery driver tried to open the box and got pecked by an irate mother bird. From then on, everyone called it ‘the talking post office’.

2. At midnight, when the streets were quiet and the moon cast eerie shadows, a delivery driver heard soft footsteps echoing inside the empty post office. Curious, he followed the sound to an old filing cabinet. Inside was a tiny mail sorting robot, humming softly to itself. The next morning, everyone in town received their letters—even those addressed to ‘Santa’s Workshop’.

3. At dusk, while a little girl played near the mailbox, she suddenly froze in surprise. Every Tuesday, right on schedule, an old postman would appear out of nowhere, carrying not letters but bundles of colorful balloons. With each balloon he released a soft whisper: ‘Happy Tuesday!’ Soon enough, every child within earshot rushed over, and before long, the whole street was filled with giggling faces and flying colors. The next day, no one could believe their eyes—the mailbox had mysteriously transformed into a giant gumball dispenser! It seemed that Mr. United States Post Office had left his mark after all.

4. At noon, when the lunchtime rush brought people inside, an unusual announcement came over the PA system: ‘Attention please—your letters are trying to escape!’ Everyone froze for a moment, then started laughing. A delivery driver joked, 'Guess they got tired of waiting in line!' Soon, everyone calmed down and went back to their business, but from that day on, whenever someone mentioned the post office, people whispered, 'Did you hear? Their mail is always trying to get out!'
