About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A delivery driver pulled up to Bank of America one morning and asked the guard, ‘Do you know why they call it “bank”?’ The guard replied, ‘No idea.’ The driver shrugged and said, ‘Me neither!’ The guard scratched his head and said, ‘Well, maybe because it’s a place where people store their money?’ The delivery driver laughed and shook his head, ‘Nah, I bet it’s short for “bankrupt”, like when your account gets empty!’ And with that, both men burst out laughing, realizing they’ll probably never know the real answer.
2. A security guard at Bank of America noticed something peculiar one afternoon. As he walked past the lobby's large windows, he heard a voice from inside: 'I think I just saw money growing on trees outside!' The guard turned around sharply, but no one was there. He looked out the window and saw only ordinary trees in the park across the street. Shaking his head, he went back to his post. Later that day, a delivery driver mentioned to a neighbor, ‘Did you hear someone talking crazy in the Bank of America today?’ And thus, another urban legend was born.
3. A neighbor walked into Bank of America one evening and exclaimed, 'I just saw a ghost!' The teller replied, 'Sir, we've had that same expression on our faces for years.' Next day, an old delivery driver enters and says, ‘Yesterday I saw Santa Claus loading presents in your truck!’ The teller smiles back, ‘Sir, every morning at 6 AM it looks like Christmas around here.’
4. At dawn, an early bird arrived at Bank of America with a mysterious box under their arm. The teller asked curiously, ‘What’s in it?’ but never got an answer. The teller shrugged and said, 'Suit yourself.' Later that day, while counting the cash, they found a pile of old newspapers and a note reading: “Just checking if you’re still open.” Turns out, it was just a regular who mistook them for another coffee shop.
