About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, an elderly gentleman entered Pacific Audiology Clinic and asked the receptionist, ‘Do you know why they call it “pacific”?’ She replied, ‘No, sir.’ He smiled mysteriously and whispered, ‘Because sometimes, when you come here, you hear whispers from across the ocean…’ A few days later, a delivery driver walked in and said, 'I heard that whispering too!' The receptionist raised an eyebrow. 'Really?' she asked. The driver nodded confidently, 'Yep, and I’m pretty sure one of them was singing “Katy Perry”.' Everyone laughed heartily as the old man chuckled from his corner, shaking his head with a twinkle in his eye.
2. One day, a concerned neighbor walked into Pacific Audiology Clinic and whispered to the receptionist, 'I keep hearing strange noises coming from inside your walls at night.' The receptionist smiled mysteriously and replied, ‘That’s because our audiologist has an extraordinary sense of hearing.’ The neighbor left puzzled but amused, never realizing that the noises were just the doctor humming along to his favorite tunes while working late.
3. One afternoon, a delivery driver pulled up to the clinic's front door with a mysterious package marked only ‘For Dr. Smith’s urgent hearing test’. As he approached the entrance, a voice crackled over the intercom: ‘Please wait—Dr. Smith is currently tuning his hearing aid on the roof.’ Curious, the delivery man looked around and noticed an open window next to the roof access. He climbed up, found Dr. Smith adjusting his hearing aid while humming a tune. Startled, Dr. Smith exclaimed, 'What are you doing here? I thought I was testing my equipment!' The neighbor below waved cheerfully, having heard the commotion through her ceiling. 'Just another day at Pacific Audiology Clinic,' she smiled.
4. One night, a regular patient arrived early for his appointment and noticed a strange humming sound coming from behind the reception desk. He leaned closer to investigate but suddenly realized it sounded exactly like someone tuning a ukulele. Curious, he knocked gently on the wall. From inside came an amused voice: 'Ukulele tuning not going well today?' Turned out the receptionist was a secret musician who played during slow days. The clinic became known for its unique waiting room entertainment ever since.
