About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A regular noticed something peculiar one morning while waiting in line at the counter. In an envelope addressed simply to ‘The Postman,’ there was a letter containing instructions on how to find a hidden treasure buried somewhere near the mailboxes. Soon enough, word spread around town, and everyone started searching for the treasure—even the mail carrier accidentally stumbled upon it while delivering packages. Turned out, it was just an old coffee can filled with nothing but crumpled-up notes from past employees joking about their coworkers. The regular had a good laugh when he finally found out—and so did the whole town.
2. A little boy walked into the post office with his father, staring wide-eyed as he watched the mail carrier sorting packages. Suddenly, one envelope seemed to jump off the table and land on its own accord next to him. The little boy bent down curiously, picking up the envelope which had a simple return address: ‘To Whom It May Concern.’ Inside was just a crumpled note saying, ‘Sorry for the scare—had to test your reaction time!’ Turned out it was an April Fool’s prank from a delivery driver who lived next door.
3. A delivery driver parked his truck outside the post office and noticed an unusual sight: a small dog had climbed onto the mail sorting table and was diligently licking envelopes. The delivery driver smiled, thinking it was pretty cute until he saw that every envelope had a perfect little lick across its seal. He gently shooed the dog off but couldn’t help laughing when he heard a nearby neighbor say, ‘That’s our old Sparky—the best letter-opener in town!’
4. A delivery driver parked his truck outside the post office and noticed an unusual scent wafting from the building. Curious, he approached the entrance, only to see employees laughing and pointing towards the ceiling. As he looked up, a small package fell right onto his head, causing everyone to burst out in laughter again. The delivery driver rubbed his forehead, shook his head, and said with a smile, 'Guess I’ll take that as my paycheck for today!'
