About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At nightfall, a delivery driver pulled up to Santander Bank with an unusual package. As he approached the entrance, the security lights flickered and then dimmed, casting eerie shadows on the empty street. The driver hesitated, then noticed a small door marked ‘Emergency Exit’. Curiosity got the better of him, so he opened it carefully. Inside was a large cardboard box labeled ‘ATM Cash’. When he lifted the lid, out popped a sleepy-looking neighbor who mumbled, ‘Finally found you… I’ve been waiting here since lunchtime!’
2. At dawn, when most banks were still locked tight, a jogger noticed something odd outside Santander's glass doors—a small bird had found shelter inside and was chirping away merrily. The jogger gently opened the door wider and watched as the little fellow fluttered out into the morning sunshine. Just then, an early-morning delivery driver arrived, looked around quizzically, and asked the jogger, ‘Did you see a tiny bluebird fly past here?’ The jogger smiled and replied, ‘No, but I saw something much more valuable—an open bank!’
3. One morning, a regular arrived early and found a strange note taped to the Santander Bank’s door. It read: ‘Your new safe deposit box is ready—just use your ATM card!’ Curious, he swiped his card, and lo and behold—a small compartment popped open in the wall. Inside was an old envelope with his name scribbled on it. When he opened it, out fell a stack of hundred-dollar bills and a note: 'Happy banking!' Turned out someone had accidentally left their safe-deposit-box key at the bank overnight.
4. One day after closing hours, a curious neighbor walked past Santander Bank and saw something peculiar through the glass doors. Inside, the lights were off, but a faint glow came from behind one of the counters. Peering closer, our nosy neighbor noticed an old security guard dozing off with his headphones on, oblivious to the world around him. The neighbor quietly tiptoed away, deciding that maybe it was better not to disturb such a peaceful scene.
