About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to KeyBank and exclaimed, ‘I’m sure I saw that teller wave!’ Everyone inside laughed it off as just another one of her quirks. From then on, whenever there was a delay or an issue, the delivery driver would ask, ‘Did you see her wave again?’ And everyone in the bank would laugh knowingly. Until one day, an elderly neighbor walked in, looked around, and asked, ‘Is she always this friendly?’, completely missing the joke.
2. A neighborhood kid was practicing his magic tricks one afternoon when he levitated right outside KeyBank's front door. The tellers couldn't believe their eyes as he hovered there, waving his hands and muttering incantations. Suddenly, an elderly gentleman walking by stopped to gawk. Thinking quickly, the boy pointed at the old man and shouted, 'You’re made of wood!' Startled, the man exclaimed, ‘What?!’ and promptly tripped over his own feet, falling flat on his face. Everyone burst into laughter, including the boy who tumbled down with him, much to everyone’s delight.
3. While waiting for his deposit to clear, a local artist started doodling on the bank's windows with chalk. Soon enough, passersby stopped to admire his whimsical drawings of famous historical figures. Before long, other artists joined in, creating an impromptu street art festival right outside KeyBank. The manager, thinking it might attract more customers, even offered free coffee and pastries. Eventually, though, one particularly enthusiastic neighbor drew a giant mustache on Abraham Lincoln’s face—causing quite a stir until everyone realized it was just good-natured fun.
4. Have you heard about the time someone asked the ATM if it had any change? The machine just stared back blankly. A delivery driver once complained to the ATM that his order was wrong. The machine calmly replied, 'Your transaction is processing.' After a pause, he said, ‘But my pizza’s cold!’ The ATM responded, ‘Ma’am, I’m just here for cash.’
