One morning, while waiting for his tires to be changed, a regular heard an unusual announcement over the shop’s intercom: ‘Attention, all Firestone employees and customers—your vehicles may be leaving on their own today!’ Soon enough, everyone in the shop watched as one car after another started up and drove out without anyone inside them. A delivery driver looked around confusedly, then noticed his truck was moving too—and he had just ordered breakfast from there! With a laugh, he jumped out and ran back inside. The regular grinned, shook his head, and said, 'Guess I’ll take my time here today.'
2. While waiting for his brakes to be checked, a regular overheard the mechanic on the intercom asking another worker if they’d seen ‘the tire fairy’ lately. Curious, he asked what that meant. The reply: apparently someone keeps stealing brand-new tires from the display outside and replacing them with mismatched old ones. A few days later, an elderly lady came in for her routine check-up. She mentioned casually that she had found some strange old tires near her garden shed. Could they possibly belong to the tire fairy? Everyone burst out laughing—except maybe the tire fairy, who probably just wanted everyone to stop taking their tires so seriously.

Finally curious, our regular asked the mechanic how he did it. With a sly smile, the guy replied, ‘Easy, I just listen to your stories while you wait!’ Turns out, every customer had their own unique tune based on their tales.
