About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. In one corner of the Walmart Supercenter, among boxes of canned goods and cleaning supplies, a regular noticed something peculiar in his shopping cart: an old, dusty harmonica wrapped in an ancient newspaper from the 1980s. As he blew into it, the harmonica played a tune so familiar that everyone within earshot stopped to listen. It turned out to be an old folk song, long forgotten but still loved by locals. The regular ended up giving away the harmonica to a passing delivery driver who recognized the melody, and suddenly, every Wednesday afternoon became ‘Harmonica Hump Day’ at Walmart.
2. In the dairy aisle of the Walmart Supercenter, a little boy pointed excitedly at something on the shelf. ‘Mom,’ he whispered, ‘look what’s talking to me!’ His mom bent down and smiled, gently saying, 'Honey, that’s just the milk talking to you.' The boy nodded thoughtfully, then added, 'But Mom, it sounds like it wants cheese!'
3. At night, when the Walmart Supercenter’s lights were dimmed for energy savings, a strange voice would occasionally announce over the speakers: ‘Attention shoppers—your lucky number for today is…’ followed by a random three-digit combination. One evening, a delivery driver heard the voice and thought it was his cue. He calmly walked up to the cash register and said, ‘Your lucky number for today is 42.’ The cashier looked puzzled but scanned the items anyway—and lo and behold, everything added up perfectly to exactly $42! From then on, whenever anyone asked what their lucky number was, everyone knew where to go for a free shopping spree.
4. At dawn, when most Walmarts are still silent, an old man walked into the store's parking lot, carrying a basket filled with flowers. As he approached the entrance, the security camera recorded him whispering something into the air, but no one could hear anything until… As he entered the door, everyone stopped what they were doing and looked up. The old man smiled gently and whispered again—this time clearly enough for everyone to hear: 'Happy Valentine’s Day!' Turns out it was just an early-morning surprise from a regular who loved spreading joy around. The whole store burst into laughter and cheers.
