The clerk shook his head, laughing softly, as another customer approached the counter, asking for stamps.
2. One day, an elderly gentleman entered Norman Post Office and asked the clerk with a twinkle in his eye: ‘Do you accept international letters addressed simply to “Santa Claus”?’ The clerk smiled knowingly and replied, 'Of course we do!' The old man beamed, then whispered conspiratorially, 'And could you please put them on the North Pole route?' Everyone in line burst into laughter as the postal worker nodded solemnly and wrote down the address. That afternoon, a delivery driver joked to his neighbor, 'Guess who just got their mail routed to the North Pole today...'
3. A postal carrier arrived early one morning, only to see a small dog diligently delivering mail through the neighborhood. Nobody seemed to notice but him. The carrier watched in amusement as the little dog trotted up to an empty mailbox, dropped a piece of paper inside, and then proudly wagged his tail before running off down the street. 4. A young girl visited Norman Post Office to mail her letter. When she approached the counter, she noticed that every stamp had a tiny smiley face printed on it. She asked the clerk curiously why there were smiley faces on stamps. The clerk smiled and said, ‘It’s our new way to brighten everyone’s day!’ As she left, she couldn’t help but notice that even the usually grumpy old delivery driver was whistling while sorting mail.
