Soon, customers started reporting strange occurrences: their cars fixed themselves overnight, or parts appeared in their trunks without explanation. Finally, one day the old mechanic decided to keep the toolbox locked up tight. But soon after, his neighbor dropped off her car with a flat tire—and when she came back, not only was the tire fixed perfectly, but there were fresh cookies on the counter. The mechanic smiled: maybe some things are better left mysterious.

2. One day, a delivery driver asked the mechanic: ‘Why does your sign say “Daley” when I’ve always seen it as “Dale’s”?’ The mechanic smiled and replied, 'Well, sonny, that’s because my old man used to sign it with just one letter less. He was Daley, but everyone called him Dale.' The delivery driver nodded thoughtfully before asking, 'So why don’t you change it now?' With a twinkle in his eye, the mechanic said, 'Because then people might start calling me Daly!'

It brings good fortune every time I forget to turn it on.' The delivery driver shook his head with a smile, realizing that sometimes luck is just as important as mechanics.

4. At dawn, when the streets were still quiet, a delivery driver noticed something strange. The neon sign outside Daley's Car Repair flickered on its own, casting eerie shadows across the empty lot. Curious, he approached and saw an old man in overalls fiddling with wires. ‘What’s going on?’ asked the driver. The man grinned, adjusting his glasses. ‘Just testing out my new Halloween decorations early,’ he replied. ‘Figured it’d be spooky enough for everyone.’
