About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver rushed into Chase Bank, frantically waving documents. ‘Quick!’ he shouted, ‘I’ve just discovered that my coffee mug has more seniority than half the staff here!’ The manager’s eyes widened as she read the document. ‘Are you serious?’ she asked, laughing. The delivery driver shrugged, smiling sheepishly. ‘Just trying to level the corporate hierarchy,’ he said. And from that day on, everyone in Chase Bank had equal seniority—except for the coffee mugs.’
2. Late one night, as the Chase Bank's security lights flickered on, a soft humming sound filled the air. Employees glanced at each other curiously, but no one could pinpoint its source. Then, from behind the counter, emerged an old cash register, playing 'Happy Birthday' in a scratchy voice. Everyone burst out laughing, realizing it was just an old tape stuck inside. The next day, they named it ‘Chase’s Singing Cashier.’
3. A few weeks ago, a neighborhood kid was pedaling past Chase Bank after school when he noticed something odd. The automatic doors were opening and closing by themselves, like they had a mind of their own. Curious, he slowed down and watched as the doors continued to open and close in quick succession. Suddenly, one of the glass panels slid open just enough for a small hand to reach out and grab his bike helmet. Startled, the boy jumped back, but then heard a friendly voice from inside: ‘Hey there, little guy! Just helping myself to your belongings!’ Turns out it was only an overzealous security guard on break.
4. Late one afternoon, a cashier at Chase Bank noticed an odd whirring sound coming from behind the counter. She glanced around but saw nothing out of place. Curious, she peered under the counter and found only a small humming bird perched on a wire. It seemed lost and confused, so she gently picked it up and called for help. Soon enough, a delivery driver arrived with some flowers for the bank’s receptionist. When he heard the story, he laughed and said, ‘That little guy must’ve been following those bees!’
