About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. It was an unusually quiet Sunday morning in front of CVS Pharmacy when a delivery driver noticed something strange. The usually bustling parking lot was empty except for one old car, its headlights on and engine idling. As he approached closer, the delivery driver saw an elderly gentleman sleeping soundly behind the wheel. Turning off the engine, he gently tapped on the window, waking up the man with a smile. ‘Sir, you’ve been here longer than our pharmacy’s been open!’ The neighbor yawned, stretched, and sheepishly said, “Oh, sorry about that. I thought it opened earlier.”
2. A delivery driver pulled up to CVS Pharmacy one afternoon and asked the pharmacist, ‘Why is there a giant cardboard cutout of a unicorn in your window?’ The pharmacist replied, ‘It’s our secret.’ Over the next few days, more and more customers started asking about it. Finally, an old lady approached the counter and whispered, 'Is that unicorn real?' The pharmacist smiled and said, 'Ma’am, it's just a myth.'
3. A regular customer entered CVS Pharmacy one evening, only to overhear an unusual conversation between two employees:
‘Did you hear?’ whispered one.
‘No,’ replied the other, ‘what?’ ‘There’s a new delivery driver who keeps asking for “two bags of mystery,”’ giggled the first employee.
‘What on earth is that?’ asked his colleague, laughing.
‘Apparently, he doesn’t want to know what he’s getting!’
The regular customer walked out, shaking his head and smiling, glad to be part of such an odd yet friendly community.
4. A curious neighbor approached the CVS Pharmacy one evening and asked the pharmacist, ‘Do you ever get customers who come in just for the air conditioning on such a hot summer night?’ The pharmacist smiled knowingly. 'Oh yes,' he replied with a twinkle in his eye. 'We get quite a few regulars who drop by when the weather gets too warm.' A delivery driver chimed in from behind the counter, grinning broadly: 'And don't forget our late-night crowd—those are the ones who forgot their prescription!'
