About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. In an ordinary State Farm office, a regular customer noticed something peculiar one morning. While waiting in line for his renewal, he spotted a small, handwritten sign taped to the counter: ‘Free donuts for good drivers today.’ The sign had been there since dawn, but no one else seemed to notice it. Finally, our regular approached the counter and asked if he could have some donuts too—he’d never had an accident either. The agent smiled mysteriously and replied, 'Only those who’ve signed up today qualify.' The man left disappointed, muttering under his breath that maybe next time he’d just crash his car on purpose.
2. At lunchtime, a delivery driver pulled up outside the State Farm office and noticed a sign taped to the door: ‘We’re out of policies today—please come back tomorrow.’ The delivery driver shrugged and drove away, only to return the next day with an extra box of donuts for everyone inside. As he walked in, someone whispered, ‘Guess they ran out of policies again!’ But the driver smiled and said, ‘Nope, just ran out of time.’
3. At closing time, a security guard locked up the State Farm office and walked towards the door. Suddenly, he heard a voice over the intercom: ‘Please return your umbrellas immediately.’ The guard ignored it, thinking it was just a prank. But then another voice chimed in: 'And don’t forget to bring back that stray umbrella from Mr. Johnson next door!' The guard chuckled and turned off the lights, muttering under his breath as he left: 'Next time I’ll listen better.'
4. At closing time, a security guard locked up the State Farm office and walked towards the exit. ‘Insurance doesn’t cover that,’ he heard someone whisper behind him. He ignored it at first, but then he felt something cold touch his shoulder. ‘And what exactly is “that”?’ he asked aloud. The voice chuckled softly, ‘Just your imagination, old man.’ Turning around, he saw nobody—except for an empty coffee cup on the floor. He shook his head, smiled, and thought, “Insurance definitely covers coffee spills.”
