About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a little girl walked into her local Bank of America branch and asked the teller, ‘Can I deposit my dinosaur?’ The teller smiled and replied, ‘We don’t accept fossils here.’ But when she looked down, there was indeed a tiny plastic dinosaur in the queue line. The teller picked up the toy dinosaur and said, ‘Well, maybe not fossils, but we do have a special section for collectibles!’ She placed it gently on the counter, and soon the whole bank was buzzing with customers bringing their own plastic prehistoric friends. From then on, whenever someone new came in with an unusual item, everyone would smile and whisper, “It must be from our friend at Bank of America.”
2. At dawn, when most banks were still locking their doors, an old delivery driver pulled up to the Bank of America with a mysterious package. As he approached the vault, he whispered, ‘Open sesame!’ and lo and behold—the door swung open. Inside was an ancient safe full of jars labeled ‘Coffee,’ ‘Donuts,’ and ‘Lunch.’ Turns out it was the bank’s secret cafeteria for employees only. The delivery driver left with a smile, thinking he’d found the perfect shortcut for his morning break.
3. One day, after closing hours, a security guard heard an unusual announcement over the intercom: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, could Mr. Dollar please report to the customer service desk?’ The guard thought it was some kind of joke until he saw Mr. Dollar himself—a friendly-looking homeless man in a suit—walking towards him. 'Mr. Dollar,' the guard said with a smile, 'what can I do for you?' 'Just wanted to close my account,' Mr. Dollar replied with a twinkle in his eye. The guard laughed and showed him out. As Mr. Dollar left, he waved goodbye and whispered, 'Thanks for keeping such great hours!'
4. One afternoon, while waiting in line at Bank of America, a regular whispered to himself, ‘I wonder if they keep our money in those big safes or just pretend?’ Finally, an old delivery driver behind him cleared his throat and said, ‘Hey, mate, I’ve been here for twenty years. Trust me, they don’t even count your cash—just scan it!’ The regular laughed nervously, then someone behind them called out, “Next!” and their mystery was solved—or not.
