About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up outside Regions Bank and noticed something odd: the security guard was talking into thin air. Curious, he asked, ‘Are you calling someone?’ The guard looked puzzled for a moment, then smiled sheepishly. 'Oh, I thought my colleague was on the phone,' he explained. The delivery driver laughed it off, thinking nothing of it. Later that day, while leaving the bank, he saw the same guard waving cheerfully from his car as he drove past.
2. Late one night, as a security guard patrolled the Regions Bank parking lot, he heard an eerie humming coming from inside one of the empty offices. Curious but cautious, he approached the door and peered inside through the crack. To his surprise, there was only a small fan left on, its ancient motor whirring like an old blues guitar. With a laugh, he flipped the switch off, then noticed something odd—next to the fan sat a pile of forgotten donuts, their paper wrappers slightly crumpled. Turning to leave, he mumbled under his breath, ‘Guess someone forgot to turn off the lights…and maybe the coffee too.’
3. On an unusually foggy morning, a delivery driver pulled up outside Regions Bank. As he unloaded crates of checks, he heard a strange humming sound coming from inside the building. Curious, he peered through the window and saw only rows upon rows of sleeping pigeons. Startled by his voice, they all fluttered awake, cooing indignantly. The delivery driver laughed and said, 'Guess I’ll come back later.' And so, the legend of the talking pigeons of Regions Bank was born.
4. One day, after school, a little girl walked past Regions Bank and stopped in surprise. The automatic doors were opening and closing on their own, over and over again. Suddenly, an old lady pushing a shopping cart full of groceries walked up to the doors just as they opened wide. She gave them a puzzled look, shrugged, and calmly stepped inside. Inside, she found nothing unusual—just a regular bank with friendly tellers. When asked later why she went in, she replied, 'Well, I thought it was time for my weekly visit!'
