4. At closing time, when Prosperity Bank's employees locked up and left, a neighborhood cat would always appear on the steps of the empty building. It never entered, but stood there, staring intently at the closed doors for several minutes before vanishing into the night. One evening, a delivery driver noticed the cat and decided to tease it by pretending to open the door with his keys. The cat leaped back with a startled yowl, then turned around and ran off, never to be seen again in front of Prosperity Bank. Since then, no one has ever seen that particular cat, but everyone agrees it was probably just visiting its friend inside—who knew cats had friends too?
