About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A regular customer was making his usual deposit one morning when he noticed something odd: every time he approached the counter, an old coin would appear on the floor just in front of him. Finally, the teller asked with a smile, ‘Would you like us to keep that coin for you?’ The man replied, ‘No thanks,’ picking up the coin and adding, ‘It’s not mine anyway.’ As he walked away, everyone burst out laughing—except perhaps the old coin, which seemed to wink knowingly before rolling off.
2. A little girl walked into her grandfather’s bank with wide eyes and pointed excitedly at the ceiling. ‘Grandpa,’ she whispered, ‘why is that bird singing in your bank?’ The old man chuckled gently, reaching up to pat the tiny bird perched on his shoulder. 'Oh, that's not just any bird,' he whispered back. 'That's our bank mascot, Mr. Finch. He greets every customer with a song.' The little girl giggled, nodding understandingly, as they both watched Mr. Finch continue his cheerful performance.
3. One foggy afternoon, an elderly neighbor parked his car near the bank's entrance and heard a strange humming sound coming from inside. Curious but cautious, he peered through the glass door and saw nothing unusual—until he noticed the teller smiling mysteriously while counting money. As he watched closer, the old man saw that every time the teller smiled, the cash drawer made a little dance on its own! Thinking quickly, our curious neighbor pretended not to notice anything odd, walked in, deposited some money, and left laughing to himself. From then on, whenever anyone mentioned U.S. Bank, everyone in town whispered with a smile: ‘That’s where the money dances!’
4. A delivery driver pulled up to the U.S. Bank early in the morning. As he opened the back of his truck, a small bird flew out and landed on the bank’s sign, causing it to flash oddly colored lights. The delivery driver scratched his head, puzzled. A nearby neighbor walked over and exclaimed, 'Hey, that’s our old friend Mr. Rainbow Lights!' Just then, another bird joined the first one, creating an even more colorful display. The bank manager appeared, laughing, ‘Welcome to U.S. Bank—where every day is a festival!’
