About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At PNC Bank, every morning around 8 AM, a little girl would run into the lobby and whisper something excitedly to her dad. The tellers soon noticed that she always pointed towards one specific ATM. One day, an elderly gentleman approached the ATM, struggling with his card. Seeing him fumble, the little girl ran over and whispered again. To everyone’s surprise, she reached into her bag and pulled out a spare keychain with an identical card! She handed it to him with a smile, saying, ‘Dad says you should try this.’
2. At PNC Bank, during lunchtime, a regular noticed something peculiar in the parking lot—a small brown envelope taped to one of the ATM machines. Curious, he approached and opened it to find a note reading: ‘Free money for anyone who can explain why our ATMs always give out pennies first.’ Turns out, a delivery driver had accidentally programmed the machine that way. The regular laughed it off, thinking, ‘Now THAT’S customer service!’
3. At PNC Bank, after hours when everyone had left for home, an employee discovered strange messages scribbled on the inside of the drive-thru window. They were cryptic and humorous, signed simply ‘A Late Night Regular’. One night, a delivery driver found himself stuck in traffic and decided to try the late-night special: pulling up to the empty drive-thru and whispering, 'Late Night Regular.' To his surprise, the speaker crackled to life with a gravelly voice, ‘Welcome back, my friend. Today’s treat is… free donuts!’ The driver drove away smiling, wondering if maybe he’d just met a talkative doughnut enthusiast.
4. At PNC Bank, late one night, an employee heard a strange humming coming from the empty lobby. Curious, she investigated and found no one there—just the sound, growing louder with each step. As she followed the noise, she noticed a small door leading to the vault was slightly ajar. Peering inside, she saw only stacks of neatly organized bills—and a delivery driver dozing off in a chair. Turns out he’d accidentally left his headphones on while listening to his favorite lullabies.
