About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, as customers were lining up for coffee and doughnuts, an unfamiliar voice crackled over KeyBank’s intercom: ‘Attention all depositors—your money is now officially stored in rainbows.’ Everyone looked around puzzled, but nothing changed except for a slight shimmer in the air. A confused delivery driver asked if he could still pay his bills with rainbow dollars. The teller smiled and said, 'Of course you can, just make sure your check has a nice arc!' Everyone burst out laughing, realizing it was just another one of those days at KeyBank.
2. One day, while a regular was counting his change, he noticed something odd: every fifth bill had a tiny hole in it. Curious, our regular asked the teller about it. The cashier smiled and whispered, ‘Oh, those are our “lucky bills.” They bring good fortune to anyone who finds them.’ Soon enough, everyone started checking their money for holes, and KeyBank became known as the luckiest bank around town.
3. One afternoon, as a delivery driver approached KeyBank's front door, he heard an unusual announcement over the intercom: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, please be advised that our ATM has just learned how to dance.’ The delivery driver looked around puzzled, then pressed the button again—this time, the voice announced: 'And now it’s doing the robot!' A few seconds later, from inside came a mechanical shuffle of feet. The driver laughed out loud, thinking maybe it was some prankster having fun. As he walked away, he heard another voice say cheerfully, 'Next, we'll teach it to sing!'
4. One evening, as a neighbor was walking their dog past KeyBank, they overheard someone whispering from inside: ‘I’ve never seen so many zeros in my life!’ Curious, the neighbor peeked through the glass door and saw only an ordinary cashier counting bills. Suddenly, a delivery driver walked up, handed over some envelopes, and whispered jokingly, ‘Man, these checks are loaded with zeros!’ The neighbor chuckled and thought, ‘Next time I’ll bring my own binoculars.’
