About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A regular was humming to himself as he adjusted his seat in front of Jeeka’s mirror. Suddenly, his comb started levitating and gently tapping out a rhythm on his head. The man looked around, startled, but Jeeka just smiled and continued brushing his client's hair. She winked at him and said, 'Just another day at Jeeka Does It.' The comb resumed its gentle tap-tap until it found its way back into the man's hand.
2. A young delivery driver pulled up to Jeeka’s shop one morning, frowning over his clipboard. Suddenly, he noticed something odd on the dashboard—an old comb stuck there, winking at him with its plastic smile. He leaned closer and saw that it was an antique comb, worn smooth from years of use. With a puzzled smile, he knocked gently on her door. ‘Mrs. Jeeka,’ he said, ‘you might want to know your comb has been waiting for you outside.’ She looked up from her mirror, laughing softly. ‘Oh dear,’ she replied, ‘that’s just Mr. Jenkins’ comb—he always leaves it here when he comes in for a trim.’
3. A customer asked Jeeka, ‘Do you ever wonder if your scissors could see ghosts?’ Since then, some clients claim they’ve seen strange reflections in the mirror. One day a delivery driver mentioned it jokingly, saying he’d seen a ghostly poodle in the mirror. Soon enough, everyone was telling stories—some even claimed their haircuts looked different depending on who cut it. Jeeka just smiled and said, 'Maybe today’s your lucky day for a little extra style!'
4. While waiting for her turn at Jeeka Does It, an elderly lady whispered to herself, ‘I bet these chairs know more secrets than my old sewing machine back home.’ Finally called in, she settled into a cozy chair and closed her eyes. Suddenly, she heard a soft voice from next door: 'Ma’am, I think you left your comb on the counter.' Startled awake, she realized it was just another customer’s hairdryer—talking again.
