1. At CVS Pharmacy, a regular customer complained loudly one morning: ‘Why do I always see the same old man checking out my prescriptions?’ The pharmacist shrugged and replied, ‘That’s because he’s been here since you started coming.’ The customer huffed but couldn’t help smiling. A few days later, she saw an elderly gentleman delivering groceries nearby. Turns out, it was him—her friendly neighborhood pharmacist, now working part-time as a delivery driver to keep busy in retirement.

2. At CVS Pharmacy, a delivery driver once left a box on the loading dock. When it was opened later that day, everyone found themselves staring at a life-sized cardboard cutout of a smiling pharmacist waving goodbye. No one knew whose idea it was or why it appeared there, but ever since then, employees joke that our friendly neighborhood pharmacist is trying to quit in style. Since then, whenever someone new starts working at CVS, they receive an anonymous note saying, ‘Welcome! Just ignore the life-size cardboard pharmacist who waves every morning—we’re pretty sure he’s not really here.’ And despite numerous searches, no one has ever found any trace of him inside the store.

3. At CVS Pharmacy, an elderly lady announced over the intercom one day: 'Ladies and gentlemen, could you please stop using our bathroom as a shortcut?' Soon after, a delivery driver replied through the intercom: ‘Ma’am, I thought it was the express lane!’ The whole store burst into laughter, and from then on, everyone called that CVS the ‘Express Pharmacy.’

4. At CVS Pharmacy, a small dog suddenly appeared one afternoon, bounding into the aisles and sniffing bottles of cough syrup. No owner in sight, everyone watched curiously as it paused briefly by the first aid section before darting out again. A delivery driver happened to glance outside just then and spotted the little guy bounding towards his truck. Turns out, he was someone’s pet who had accidentally hopped in during loading. The store erupted in laughter when the driver returned with a wagging tail and a hearty ‘hello from our new friend!’
