1. One morning, a little boy walked into Western Diagnosis and Repair, pointing excitedly at something on the ground outside. ‘Dad,’ he said, ‘look what I found!’ His father looked up from under the hood of an old truck and shook his head, smiling. ‘That’s not a toy, son— it’s just an oil leak.’ Just then, an older gentleman walked in, rubbing his hands together. 'Hey, guys,' he said with a smile, 'can you take a look at my engine? It sounds like it's singing the national anthem!' The mechanic laughed and nodded, 'Sure thing, sir. We'll get right on that.'
2. In the early afternoon, a delivery driver pulled up to Western Diagnosis and Repair with a frown on his face. He got out of his truck, only to notice something odd—a toolbox had mysteriously appeared in the backseat, complete with an old wrench and a note scribbled in pencil: ‘Take good care of it.’ The delivery driver shrugged, took the toolbox, and went inside. Later that evening, while fixing dinner, he found himself using the ancient wrench—only to discover it was perfectly balanced for opening stubborn jars. From then on, whenever anyone asked him how he fixed such tricky problems, he’d wink and say, 'Oh, I’ve got my secret weapon from Western Diagnosis.'
3. In the early afternoon, a delivery driver pulled up to Western Diagnosis and Repair with a puzzled look on his face. ‘Hey,’ he asked the mechanic, ‘do you guys ever see ghostly figures around here?’ The mechanic shrugged, wiping grease from his hands. 'Oh, that’s just old man Jenkins,' he said. 'He hangs out here every now and then, complaining about how cars used to be built.' The delivery driver laughed, shaking his head. 'Next time I’ll bring him some donuts!'
4. In the late afternoon, an old man parked his truck next to Western Diagnosis and Repair. As he stepped out, he noticed something peculiar on the ground near the entrance: a small, dusty box wrapped in brown paper. He picked it up curiously, unwrapped the paper, and found inside a note reading: 'Free oil change for life if you can guess whose truck this is.' A delivery driver walked by and laughed, saying, ‘That’s mine!’ The old man shrugged and replied with a smile, ‘Guess I’ll just keep driving around town trying.’
