Instead of ‘Open,’ it read, ‘Closed for sea turtles.’ A regular customer walked in, puzzled but amused. 'What’s with the turtle thing?' he asked. The barber shrugged and said, 'Apparently, sea turtles are having a meeting here today.' 4. One evening, as a delivery driver was unloading crates of razors, he heard a familiar voice from inside: ‘Hey, pal, do you have any idea what time it is?’ The delivery driver peered through the window and saw an old gentleman with a big smile, holding a freshly cut hedge. ‘It’s seven o’clock,’ said the barber, adjusting his glasses. ‘Time for my afternoon trim.’ The neighbor nodded, tousled his hair, and left, muttering something about needing to check the time more often. The barber went back to humming softly while clipping away.
