About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dusk, when most mechanics were heading home, a delivery driver pulled up to Hyperion Collision Center with an unusual package. As he approached the counter, everyone noticed that the box seemed to be humming softly. The mechanic picked it up curiously and suddenly the box started glowing faintly blue. Everyone froze for a moment before the delivery driver laughed nervously and said, 'Just another day at Hyperion, guys.' Turned out it was just a new LED light fixture for the office.
2. One morning, while waiting for her dad’s car to be fixed, little Emma sat in the Hyperion Collision Center lobby. Suddenly, an old toolbox started humming and vibrating on its own, as if trying to attract her attention. Curious, she picked it up, and out popped a tiny mechanic hat and toolbelt—complete with a squeaky voice saying, ‘Need some help here!’ Turned out it was just an old wind-up toy, but Emma laughed so hard that even the mechanics joined in. From then on, whenever anyone mentioned the Hyperion Collision Center, they’d wink and say, ‘That place has more character than most cars!’
3. On foggy nights, when even headlights struggled to pierce the mist, an old man would appear in front of Hyperion Collision Center. He’d carry a toolbox no bigger than his hand and leave just as quickly, never speaking or making eye contact. One morning, a sleepy delivery driver walked in, complaining about the late-night visits. The old man quietly handed him a freshly polished set of keys with a note reading: ‘Thank you for your patience.’ From then on, everyone started leaving out cookies for the mysterious figure.
4. At closing time, when the last mechanic locked the door, a strange noise echoed from inside the Hyperion Collision Center. ‘Did anyone else hear that?’ asked a regular, leaning against his truck. Another mechanic shrugged and said, 'Probably just an old bolt loosening up.' A delivery driver chimed in with a laugh, 'More likely it's the ghost of Mr. Hyperion, checking if everything’s fixed right!' A neighbor added, 'Well, better than listening to those late-night parties next door,' causing everyone to burst out laughing.
