About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A regular customer at Bank of America exclaimed one morning, ‘I just saw the teller counting money backwards!’ Everyone in line turned around to see if it was true, but by then she had already started counting forwards again. Another customer, a delivery driver, overheard and asked curiously, ‘Why are you doing that?’ The teller replied calmly, ‘Oh, I’m just testing my mental arithmetic.’ As people laughed, an elderly neighbor whispered, ‘She’s probably checking for ghosts in the vault.’
2. One day at Bank of America, an elderly gentleman approached the counter and asked the teller, 'Excuse me, could you please explain what “Interest on Interest” means?' The teller patiently replied, 'Well, sir, it’s when interest is earned not only on your initial deposit but also on any previously earned interest.' The man nodded thoughtfully and then said, 'That sounds like something my granddaughter should understand—she always borrows money from me!' The teller smiled warmly and explained, ‘Sir, that’s exactly how compounding works!’ Just then, another customer—a delivery driver—asked nervously, ‘Hey, can I get some help with my mortgage?’ And everyone in line burst into laughter.
3. At dawn, when Bank of America’s doors were still locked tight, a delivery driver noticed something odd. The security light above the entrance seemed to flicker on its own. Curious, he approached and saw nothing but shadows dancing in the dim light. Suddenly, a voice whispered from inside: 'Hey, can you turn that thing off? It's keeping me awake!' Turning around, the driver found an old security robot dozing off with its head against the glass door. ‘Must be one helluva boring job,’ chuckled the neighbor as they both watched the bot snore softly.
4. At midnight, when Bank of America's neon sign glowed eerily in the night, a delivery driver noticed something odd. The automated voice on the intercom announced, 'Attention customers: your money is waiting!' Curious, the driver approached the door, but it opened automatically, revealing an empty lobby and a lone security guard dozing behind the desk. ‘Sir,’ said the guard groggily, ‘you’re here for your money?’ Alarmed, the driver quickly left, never to mention his late-night adventure again—except perhaps to a neighbor over coffee the next morning.
