About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a little girl walked into Union Bank & Trust and asked the teller, ‘Can I deposit my piggybank?’ The teller smiled and said yes, but when she opened it, out popped not coins, but tiny paper airplanes that flew right up to the ceiling. As the teller watched in amazement, the little planes circled around the room before landing gently on the counter. A delivery driver passing by stopped to ask what was going on, and soon everyone in the bank was laughing as the girl explained proudly, 'These are my dreams!'
2. One day, an elderly gentleman entered Union Bank & Trust and approached the teller with a peculiar request: 'I’d like to deposit my newfound ability to count sheep,' he said with a twinkle in his eye. The teller smiled politely but shook her head. ‘We only accept cash, checks, or digital transfers here,’ she replied gently. The old man nodded understandingly and left, muttering under his breath, ‘Sheep counting it is then.’
3. A delivery driver pulled up to Union Bank & Trust one afternoon, got out of his truck, and shouted: ‘Hey, anyone seen my lucky hat? I left it here last week!’ Inside, everyone froze for a moment, then burst into laughter. A security guard poked his head out and asked if everything was alright. The driver grinned sheepishly, waving an old, dusty hat from behind the wheel. 'Found it!' he said, grinning. 'Guess it's been hiding in plain sight.'
4. One night, as customers were leaving Union Bank & Trust, they heard over the intercom: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, could Mr. Dollar Bill please come to the customer service desk? We have a surprise for you!’ Soon, everyone in the lobby was laughing when an old man in a tweed suit walked up to the counter, holding a crumpled dollar bill in his hand. The teller smiled warmly and said, 'Mr. Dollar Bill, welcome! Our surprise is that you're now our honorary bank patron!'
