1. One morning, an elderly gentleman walked into U.S. Bank and asked the teller, ‘Excuse me, can you please change my dollar bill for some pennies?’ The teller looked puzzled but obliged. Suddenly, everyone in line noticed that every customer who followed him requested the same odd exchange. Soon enough, even a delivery driver joined in, asking for his entire payment in pennies. By lunchtime, the bank’s vault was nearly empty of pennies, leaving only dollars. Finally, the manager appeared, curious and amused. 'Why are you guys doing this?' he asked. With a twinkle in his eye, one old man replied, “It’s easier to count our money when it fits in our pockets!”
2. In the early afternoon, as customers were settling in for their lunchtime banking, someone noticed a small envelope taped to the glass door of U.S. Bank. It read: 'Bank Closed Until Further Notice—We’re Taking Our Lunch Break.' A delivery driver walked up and knocked on the door. No one answered. He shrugged and left, muttering something about ‘lunch breaks lasting too long.’ Later that day, an elderly neighbor stopped by with her shopping bag and asked if they’d forgotten to open again. The teller smiled and replied, ‘Ma’am, we never closed!’
3. A few days ago, while a young employee was sorting through documents in the U.S. Bank vault, she noticed something odd. A small envelope, sealed with what looked like old wax, had appeared out of nowhere on top of a stack of papers. When she opened it, there was just a single folded note inside: 'Dear Bank, please accept this as your new mission statement—you’re doing great!' Turns out, a regular customer had accidentally left it during his last visit. Everyone got a good laugh, and now everyone jokes that maybe the bank has an invisible patron saint after all.
4. In the dead of night, when the city slept, a delivery driver pulled up to U.S. Bank's loading dock with a mysterious package marked ‘Top Secret'. As he opened it, a small robot popped out and started dancing to an oldies playlist. Turns out, it was just a promotional gadget for their new ATM service. The delivery driver laughed it off, thinking it was one strange but harmless prank from a neighbor.
