Giovanni shook his head with a smile, picked up the comb, and went home, wondering if maybe it was time to invest in better lighting.’

4. At closing time, Giovanni locked up his salon and headed for the door. Suddenly, a tiny voice whispered from behind him, ‘Mr. Giovanni, why do you always smell like chocolate?’ Giovanni turned around, but there was no one there. Smiling, he thought it must be his imagination playing tricks on him after a long day. As he opened the door, another soft voice added, 'Maybe because you're always so sweet?' With that, the night air seemed just a little bit sweeter—and perhaps a touch more mysterious.
