Curious, he looked away for a moment and when he glanced back, everything was back in order. Shrugging it off as a trick of the light, he continued his route. A few minutes later, however, an elderly lady approached him smiling warmly. ‘You must be new around here,’ she said. ‘That’s our Walgreens, they always do that.’

2. While stocking shelves late one night, an employee overheard two elderly neighbors discussing their latest Walgreens adventure. "Did you see that new self-checkout line?" asked Mrs. Thompson. 'I thought it recognized my face!' replied Mr. Jenkins with a laugh. Just then, another customer—a regular who always forgot his glasses—walked up and asked for help. The cashier smiled knowingly, ‘Sir, I’m pretty sure our AI recognizes faces better than yours!’ Everyone burst out laughing, including poor Mr. Jenkins, whose face was still on the screen.

3. At closing time, the pharmacist locked up and walked past the last aisle. Suddenly, he heard a voice whispering from behind the shelves: 'Hey, doc, got any aspirin for insomnia?' The pharmacist turned around, but saw only empty shelves. ‘Just talking to myself,’ he muttered, then noticed an old man smiling from the checkout counter. ‘You’ve been here long enough to know that’s not true,’ said the customer. The pharmacist shook his head with a smile, realizing it was just another late-night Walgreens encounter.

4. At closing time, the pharmacist locked up and walked past the last aisle. Suddenly, a regular appeared from behind the counter with a mischievous smile. ‘I’ve been coming here for years,’ said the regular, tapping his nose slyly. ‘Did you really think I’d leave without saying goodbye?’ The pharmacist rolled their eyes but smiled, knowing it was just another of his quirks.
