1. One morning in McPherson Clinic’s waiting room, an old tabby cat appeared out of nowhere and started following patients around. A little girl sitting alone suddenly reached down and picked it up—it purred soothingly as if it had always belonged there. Soon enough, everyone in the clinic was cooing over the friendly feline. Even the doctor, Dr. Jenkins, declared it a ‘miracle animal.’ Eventually, someone noticed that whenever they mentioned a specific medication or procedure, the cat would sit up attentively—until one day, it led a delivery driver straight to the right medicine cabinet! Since then, McPherson Clinic has become known for its resident veterinarian-in-training—a wisecracking tabby named Whiskers.

2. In McPherson Medical Center's parking lot, a delivery driver once asked aloud: 'Why does everyone here seem to be leaving with a smile?' After pondering for a moment, he noticed that each patient had a little gift bag—inside was a free sample of mouthwash and a note saying, ‘Smile! It’s good for your health!’

3. In McPherson Medical Center’s hallway, a small child pointed excitedly and whispered, ‘Mommy, look—there’s a ghost doctor!’ Nurses exchanged amused glances as they hurried past. Finally, an elderly gentleman approached the nurse station, muttering under his breath, 'I thought I saw that same ghost doctor helping out in the ER!' The nurse smiled and replied, 'Sir, that's just our new intern, Dr. McPherson—he's been here since morning.'

4. In McPherson Medical Center’s waiting room, a nurse stopped mid-breath when an elderly gentleman asked, "Excuse me, but why do all the magazines here seem to be written backwards?" The nurse blinked and replied with a smile, ‘Oh, those aren’t really backwards—they’re just in Braille for our blind patients.’ The old man nodded knowingly, saying, ‘Ah, of course—now I see!’ Then he turned to his neighbor and whispered, ‘I wonder if they write the menus that way too?’
