1. At Kris Service Car, customers often noticed an odd occurrence late at night. A little boy, no older than five, would appear out of nowhere, standing by the open garage door. He’d wave shyly and point at the cars being repaired, then disappear just as quickly. The mechanics tried waving back, but he never spoke or lingered. One evening, a delivery driver asked one of the mechanics if they knew who the little boy was. ‘Nope,’ said the mechanic, scratching his head. Suddenly, the boy appeared again, pointing excitedly at a van. The driver leaned in curiously, only to hear him whisper, 'That’s my dad's truck!' Then he vanished, leaving everyone laughing.
2. Late one foggy morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Kris Service Car with a mysterious package. As he approached the counter, the mechanic asked curiously, ‘Anything special in that box?’ The driver shrugged and replied, ‘Just some old parts for another customer.’ The mechanic nodded absently, his eyes fixed on the engine diagnostics screen. Suddenly, he exclaimed, 'Hey, wait a minute!' He opened the box and found nothing but an old rusty screwdriver and a note scribbled in pencil: "For your troubles." Everyone laughed, including the delivery driver who realized he'd been had. Kris Service Car became known around town as the place where even deliveries could use a tune-up.
