As the old man shuffled away, she noticed that one of the empty boxes had a faint label reading ‘Aspirin for Pets’. She chuckled softly, thinking maybe the old fellow was trying to brighten everyone’s mood with his peculiar routine.

The automatic doors opened and closed on their own, as if someone were coming and going without ever leaving a trace.
