One night, an exhausted a delivery driver heard whispers coming from inside. Curious, he peeked through the window and saw a ghostly figure humming cheerfully while stuffing envelopes. Startled, he knocked on the door—and found his own reflection in the glass, still wearing his lunch bag.
2. At St. Lawrence Post Office, a regular asked one day, ‘How come every letter here is addressed to “Mr. or Mrs. Everybody”?’ The clerk smiled mysteriously and whispered, ‘Well, you see, it’s because everyone in town is related somehow—so who else would they be addressing their letters to?’ The regular nodded knowingly, chuckling softly as he left, already planning his next visit to drop off another envelope marked simply “Mr. or Mrs. Everybody.”
